So if you’re looking for an evening of great music and good times, look no further than Petti Little Things. Their acoustic covers of your favorite songs from the 60’s and beyond are sure to have you tapping your feet and singing along.

Krista Petti

Krista Petti is a South Jersey native and musician of over 15 years. She began her journey with music in the fourth grade starting with the trumpet in her middle school band. Her love of music didn’t quite start there – Krista’s earliest memories are of watching her family play in bands, orchestras, and musicals, and at family cookouts and fundraising events, all while wishing that she would one day do the same. Krista enjoys a challenge and, throughout the years, has learned to play a total of 14 instruments. (She believes that one day she could achieve 20 instruments total, but only time will tell.)

Krista is not only the guitarist and vocalist of Petti Little Things, but also the bassist and vocalist of Jersey Shakedown and Everyone But Neal – both bands feature members of the Petti family, as well as other relatives and close friends.

When Krista is not at rehearsal or a gig, she is a full-time Legal Assistant in Philadelphia and full-time Fur Mom to her dog and three cats. She also enjoys eating at her favorite vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free restaurants in the city, going to local wineries and distilleries with her fiance, and listening to one of her 150 records that she has collected over the last decade. Krista also enjoys playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and vintage Nintendo 64 games on her Nintendo Switch to unwind.

Fun fact: As an avid Classic Rock enthusiast, Krista’s favorite band is Fleetwood Mac and she was lucky enough to see them all together three times in one tour.

Brittany Petti

Brittany Petti is a South Jersey native musician, and, as is common in the Petti family, has been involved in the world of music since her childhood. Brittany began singing in her church’s choir at the age of 4, and, throughout the years, expanded her musical abilities to not only include her vocal talents – Brittany can also play the marimba, percussion instruments such as the bass drum, and the bass guitar.

Brittany attended Rowan University and graduated in 2013 with a degree in psychology with areas of study also including geography and political science. Along with her younger sister, Krista, Brittany is also a member of the bands Jersey Shakedown and Everyone But Neal.

Beyond her music-related endeavors, Brittany’s professional career includes Boeing, where she currently works as a member of the supply chain foundation program. In her leisure time, Brittany embraces an active lifestyle – nine times out of ten, you could probably find her partaking in various outdoor activities such as paddle-boarding, cycling, running, and hiking South Jersey State Forests with her dog, Maggie.

Peg Smith (Aunt Peg)

“Aunt Peg” Smith taught herself guitar when she was 12 so she could learn to play Beatles’ songs. This led to forming an all-girl band, “The Hericanes”. Mostly playing in each other’s backyards, the band enjoyed modest success.

It’s been a long time since those days. In between, she went to college, got married, had an amazing child, worked in Information Technology, taught music and technology in high school and elementary school. While working, she led ensembles at churches and was involved in musical theater on the elementary and high school levels, as well as community theaters. She is also a founding member of the cover band, Everyone But Neal.

Now retired, and with way too much time on her hands, she’s elated to join her nieces, Brittany and Krista, in Petti Little Things. Combining our love of tight harmonies and great tunes, we’ve been having fun teaching each other our favorite songs and sharing them with you!

Fun fact: Aunt Peg’s first concert was The Beatles at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia.
